Dave Klassen
President
Dave is a young, visionary entrepreneur with over 18 years of industry experience. He began his first company, Newport Landscaping, at the age of 16 – with drive, passion, and dedication, the company has grown to employ more than 50 full time staff, with an ever-growing array of service offerings.
Dave loves interacting with clients, empowering those around him and creating and maintaining extraordinary landscapes. He is passionate about politics, business, and family.
Harsh Patel
Vice President
Harsh has a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Niagara College and over 8 years of industry experience.
Harsh is passionate about client care and business. He is always looking to implement new processes to improve the organization and how we interact and serve our clients. His attention to detail, years of industry experience and ambition yields extraordinary results for our clients.
Harsh also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Felicia Desjardins
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, Human resources manager
Felicia has more than 10 years of industry experience in customer service and human resources. Her attention to detail, structural organization and bubbly personality is contagious and echoes within the organization.
Felicia is passionate about art, helping others and outdoor activities such as hiking, campfires, fishing and kayaking.
Kiley Barron
HEALTH AND SAFETY, FLEET MANAGER
Kiley is a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in equipment rentals, sales and service. As the Fleet Manager and Health and Safety Manager at Newport Landscaping, Kiley oversees our large fleet of trucks, tractors and equipment. Kiley’s expertise ensures she can effectively balance safety standards, cost-effectiveness and unique equipment requirements on a wide range of projects within the organization.
In her free time, Kiley enjoys animal husbandry, hiking, and camping in Northern Ontario.
DYLAN MUILEBOOM
Landscape Design & Sales Manager
Dylan is a graduate of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture and Niagara College’s Environmental Technology program. With over 15 years of landscape design, installation and maintenance experience, Dylan is an expert in horticulture and ecology.
Dylan uses his formal horticulture experience and ecological background to create gardens that are not only beautiful but low maintenance and ecologically valuable. In his down time, Dylan enjoys spending time in nature, creating aquarium aquascapes and playing volleyball. Dylan is a proud father of two energetic young boys.
Rob vanstone
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE Manager
Rob comes to Newport Landscaping with over 15 years experience in the lawn care business and takes pride in his work. Rob has a great eye for detail. In his down time Rob enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
